New Thing #218: Successfully Make Yorkshire Pudding

Scale_4

I am really, really bad at making Yorkshire pudding.

Ever since Shauna’s Gran introduced them to me years ago I have tried, and tried again to successfully replicate her recipe. And by that, I mean end up with anything nearly edible for my efforts. Which is so sad, because I absolutely adore Yorkshire pudding.

Today, after having a roast in the slowcooker all afternoon and a ton of drippings to work with I went to work. I was determined to at least be able to choke down one of my puddings at the end of things.

And what do you know? It worked out this time! I don’t know if it was the lower temperature I baked them at, the amount of drippings I used or just plain luck, but those were totally Yorkshire puddings that came out of the oven.
