New Thing #129: Make an iMovie Trailer

I haven’t exactly been the biggest fan of iMovie 11. I’ve had a hard time adjusting to how the new “timeline” works and can only feel for all the professional video editors out there that have it shoehorned in their new version of Final Cut.

But I’ve needed to use it more and more often for these videos, so I thought I’d give the built-in trailer building feature a whirl. And actually, it isn’t half bad. Just drag some clips around, change a few titles and voila: instant Hollywood preview.

Now if only I’d shot more video over the years I’d be able to make another one.
