3DTV is, in a word, nauseating.
Ok, I can’t just leave it at that.
I’ll admit that the actual 3D effect was a lot better than I’d expected. It was as clear, if not clearer, than my 3D theatre experience has been. But walking out of the store with the onset of a headache and a queazy stomach after just a few minutes of Avatar isn’t exactly a selling feature.
I can’t imagine how motion sick I’d get if I actually played a first person shooter beyond two dimensions now that 3D is being baked into video games as well. This is one fad I hope fades away sooner than later.
